The CIC has obtained the ISO 45001:2018 certification for the following research support services:
- Administration and secretariat
- Bioinformatics unit
- Communication and Marketing unit
- Genomics unit
- Instrumentation and Maintenance facility
- Microscopy and Flow cytometry unit
- Molecular Diagnostic Pathology unit
- Proteomics unit
- Radioactive materials service
- Warehouse service
- Washing and Sterilization unit
This certification has been granted by Bureau Veritas after an audit process in which the Occupational Health and Safety Management System was found to comply with the requirements of the standard.
The Occupational Health and Safety Policy of the Cancer Research Foundation of the University of Salamanca aims to ensure the safety of its personnel and improve the conditions in which they carry out their work activities. To this end, the CIC management assumes the established commitments.

Dicho certificado ha sido otorgado por Bureau Veritas tras un proceso de auditoría en el que se ha encontrado el Sistema de Gestión de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo conforme con las exigencias de dicha norma.
La Política de Seguridad y Salud de la Fundación de Investigación del Cáncer de la Universidad de Salamanca pretende garantizar la seguridad de su personal y mejorar las condiciones en la que éstos desarrollan las actividades laborales, para ello la dirección del CIC asume los compromisos establecidos.
