Mission

The CIC Equality Committee aims to identify and promote equal opportunities for all people working at the CIC

Specific Objectives:

• To gather and assess the current state of diversity at the CIC and eliminate all forms of discrimination.
• To promote awareness of the current situation and the values of equality, diversity and inclusion among CIC staff.
• To implement affirmative actions that foster gender and social equality (Link).
• To promote diversity and inclusion through scientific communication and public outreach activities and events (Link).
• To develop and disseminate the CIC Equality Roadmap (Link).
• To disseminate applicable legislation on equality and inclusion, as well as protocols addressing sexual and gender-based harassment(Link).
• To protect staff from sexual harassment and any form of discrimination based on gender, race, or sexual orientation (“Anonymous Reporting Form”).
• To receive suggestions related to equality and inclusion matters (“Anonymous Suggestions Box”).
